Operations

DevOps & Infra

Design, delivery and operation of business-critical systems.

01

Operations and standby

Day-to-day operation of databases and application platforms, with a hotline and standby cover. Mainly for systems where an outage carries a direct business risk.

  • High-availability environments: RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, Exadata.
  • Troubleshooting and incident handling, from the hotline call to closure.
  • Performance tuning based on measurement.
02

DevOps and development support

We build the automation, the monitoring and the runtime environment in the same engineering work as the platform itself.

  • Automated configuration management with Ansible and SaltStack, so test and production cannot drift apart.
  • Infrastructure from code, with Terraform, so we build the environments from the same description.
  • Build and delivery pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab CI, so a release does not depend on manual steps.
  • Container workloads on Kubernetes and OpenShift, together with the operational routine around them.
  • Monitoring and log analysis with Zabbix, Elasticsearch and Kibana, so a fault is not first discovered through a ticket.
03

Fusion Middleware 12c → 14c

Premier Support: Dec 2026

Premier Support for Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c ends in December 2026. Where WebLogic, SOA Suite or ODI runs on 12c, the decision is now: start the move, or push it out to the end of 2027 with paid Extended Support.

  • Assessment: what runs today, what depends on it, and in what order it can safely move.
  • WebLogic and the products built on it share a version, so we plan the move domain by domain.
  • We also run these platforms, so we know the typical failure points of a cutover from our day-to-day work.
04

Cloud and migration

Oracle Cloud, AWS, containerisation and hybrid operation. We assess system by system which ones are worth moving to the cloud.

  • A migration plan based on real load and cost, not on a list-price calculator.
  • Hybrid operation: we handle both what stays on premises and what moves to the cloud.
  • Containerisation where it genuinely makes operation simpler.
05

Consulting and systems integration

Design, rollout and troubleshooting, also for systems that we will not go on to operate.

  • A second opinion on an architecture or a migration plan, before the decision is made.
  • Systems integration: moving data and building interfaces between production systems.
  • Database security and security review.
Support12c → 14c

Support milestones for Fusion Middleware 12c

According to Oracle’s lifetime support policy, Premier Support for Fusion Middleware 12c (12.2.1.4, or 12.2.1.19 for Forms) ends in December 2026. With paid Extended Support, fixes and security updates keep coming until December 2027. After that comes Sustaining Support, under which no new fixes or security updates are released.

The deadline does not mean a shutdown. With Extended Support the move can be scheduled up to the end of 2027, and not every system has to move at once.

We do not sell a boxed SLA

We fit the availability level, the response time and the escalation path to what the client expects, because the client knows how much downtime the business can take. Some systems need weekend cover; for others the next working day is enough. Nor do the two carry the same cost implications.

This is the practice behind the levels we take on:

96 690+
hours spent on standby
500+

2 450+

Let us talk about operations

The first conversation shows which systems are involved, what is expected of them and whether we are the right choice. If we are not, we make that clear from the start.

We reply within three business days.
